Here’s a gem of a set by yours truely JazzDJ, seriously smashed by this point!!! This session (part 2 of 3 that night), fuelled by a bottle of red wine and some glasses of cognac, finds JDJ getting obsessed with a particular soundbite and amusingly singing along to the last track… I cried with laughter listening back to this one! Still worth a listen (even at 64Kbps) just to give you an idea of what to expect… Peace.

No room for squares hear! With this session we find some dance beats with jazzified flavours, some recent releases and some classics, all mixed up! For a very brief period in the early 90’s i abandoned jazz vinyl for soulful garage and the club of the moment for me was Mark Smith’s ‘Red’ with DJ Johnny Russell plus very special guests every month. This is the first mixed session for explorations in jazz!!! And it’s for my very dear old friend Sally on this special day ;-)

the Life session… life is unusual, you never know what’s going to happen! No matter what your situation life affects us all! Just when you think you know life, it can kick you down to the ground, or lift you up to the heavens. With this eclectic session, a milestone jazzcast number 30, and as a special way of celebrating all of life’s downs and ups, I have picked out some tracks all with Life in the title.
